12 Babes of Christmas: DIY Christmas Planter

Whitney is taking over on Day 3 of our 12 Babes of Christmas countdown to show us the best (and fastest) way to bring some chic holiday decor into the home. Whether you want to spice things up with a cactus house plant, or keep it simple with a mini Christmas tree, this DIY project is a quick way to bring some holiday cheer into your home.

Step #1: Set the unpainted pot on a paintable surface such as a piece of cardboard or grass. Purchase our favorite pot here.

Step #2: Carefully spray the pot with the metallic spray paint working your way around (careful  not to get too close to avoid any runs in the paint)

Step #3: Let dry overnight

Step #4: Add the plant to the pot and add more dirt if needed

Step #5: Decorate the plant according to your taste using ornaments and lights! We are currently obsessed with these. 

Step #6: Put your holiday decor on display in your home on a chic planter stand.
